This is the original version, staged and originally broadcast in 1978, while South Africa was still suffering under apartheid, and which therefore found the performance disturbing. It was performed in the Markt Theatre, in front of an audience that included Winnie Mandela – visible in a brief scan of the audience at the beginning and end of the performance.
Later versions can be found on YouTube, but this version has, I think, more impact, given the circumstances under which it was staged.
